Poseidon

For many people, the sound of the sea is a memory of summers, holidays, and distant horizons. Poseidon looks toward that horizon: the god of the seas has turned his head upward and to the side, and the turquoise spreading like a wave from his beard to his shoulders becomes a window onto the sea inside your home.

In Poseidon, the bust, its head turned upward and to the side, is in motion with windswept hair and a long beard. On the antiqued white surface, turquoise flows down one side of the face, hair, and beard, and scatters like splashes of waves across the shoulders and base.

The balance of white and turquoise recalls the coolness of the sea on a console or bookcase. Its round footed base carries the bust steadily.
