Pink David

For centuries, classical sculptures have been seen as the measure of beauty and proportion; painting them in today's colors is a bold way of joking with the past. In Pink David, the classical face takes on pink skin, large letters fall across the chest and white tears across the cheek, and the bust becomes a confident burst of laughter on the shelf.

Pink David is the classical curly-haired bust of David painted in vivid fuchsia pink from head to toe. A slogan in large white letters runs across its chest, and white drop-shaped tear marks sit on its cheek.

It measures 43 × 26 × 11 cm (height 43 cm). With its base, on a bookshelf, a desk or a white column pedestal, it brings classical sculpture together with today's language of color and words.
