About the piece

The treble (G) clef stands at the start of a staff and determines how every note that follows is read. This sculpture turns that sign into a mirror-finish ribbon curling back on itself; set on the entry console, it does the same for the home, setting its tone for whoever walks in, right at the door.

In Between the Lines, a thick ribbon curling back on itself draws a fluid line in the air reminiscent of a treble (G) clef; the mirror-finish surface reflects the light and its surroundings in every curve. A black rectangular base sets the form on a simple ground.

At 78 cm tall, it creates a striking silhouette on an entry console, a bedroom nightstand, or in a music room. In gold and silver tones.
