About the piece

The music played in a home is the sound most quickly remembered years later. In this sculpture, the violin is divided into horizontal layers, each slightly shifted, yet its silhouette remains whole; on your console, it says that memories stacked one upon another complete a life rather than divide it.

Golden Violin is a violin form divided into horizontal slices, each slightly shifted; with its long neck and scrolled head, the instrument's silhouette remains whole. Rough, crystal-textured patches on the body break up the light on the glossy surface.

At 74 cm tall, it creates a vertical accent on a console, a bookcase, or in a music room. In mirror-finish gold and platinum, or matte copper tones.
