Balance of Truth

From the market scale to the courtroom, the scale has come a long way as a symbol of fairness and true measure. With gold-toned pans hung on chains on either side of its black post, Balance of Truth reminds you at every glance that both sides must be weighed in every decision made at your desk.

Balance of Truth is a decorative take on a classic scale: a gold-toned arm atop a black vertical post carries two gold-toned pans hung on chains. The gold plate on the hexagonal black base is adorned with small weight discs.

At 22.5 cm tall, it makes a quiet reference to balance and justice on a desk, a bookcase, or an office console. On the metal body, the pans, arm, and chains are gold, and the post and base are black.
