Captain Kong Lifesize

A shield is carried not to attack but to protect those behind it, which is why in many cultures it is seen as a symbol of courage and responsibility. Captain Kong Lifesize takes on this meaning: with a fist pounding its chest and a starred shield, it stands like a roaring guardian watching over the home it lives in.

Captain Kong Lifesize is a gorilla sculpture whose surface is divided into sharp geometric facets, its mouth open as if roaring. The glossy metallic blue body has a star on the chest and back and red-and-white stripes at the waist; one fist strikes its chest, while the other arm carries a round, ringed shield with a star at its center.

With height options of 80 and 100 cm, it becomes the focal point of a spacious living room, an office entrance or a playroom; its high-gloss red, silver and blue surface reflects light from every angle.
