Black King Kong

True strength rarely needs display; it is noticed most in the loads carried without a word to anyone. This sculpture says so with a faceted gorilla, black from head to toe: the strength of the figure raising the barrel overhead shows only in the fine lines of light gleaming at its edges, and it holds a dignified presence on the bookcase shelf.

Black King Kong is a faceted, roaring gorilla raising a barrel over its head with both arms. The body, black from head to toe, is divided into sharp planes; light gleams only along the edges in fine lines, expressing the strength of the form in a simple language.

In 30, 40, and 65 cm heights, it finds a place at different scales, from a bookcase shelf to a console, from a desk to an entry hall. The resin body weighs between 2 and 7.5 kg depending on height.
