Maserati Shamal Engine Coffee Table

The Shamal was one of Maserati's rarest coupés; its twin-turbo V8 is rarer still outside the car.

This coffee table is built around a real engine: Maserati Shamal twin-turbo V8. Look closely and you see the red ribbed intake, the polished gold curled exhaust pipes and the gold trident plate. Each engine is cleaned, finished and mounted by hand, then fitted with thick clear glass on polished supports, so the engine stays fully in view.

Each piece is made once. Because it starts from a real engine, small marks of its working life may remain and no two pieces are exactly alike.
