This coffee table is built around a real engine: BMW S63 twin-turbo V8 (M5). Look closely and you see the twin turbochargers in the glass cut-out and the bronze plate with the BMW and M badges. Each engine is cleaned, finished and mounted by hand, then fitted with thick clear glass on polished supports, so the engine stays fully in view.

Each piece is made once. Because it starts from a real engine, small marks of its working life may remain and no two pieces are exactly alike.
