Queens of Now

Today's queens wear no crowns; their power comes from their attitude and the colors they choose. Queens of Now shows these women in four different moods: one holds a tray, one rests a finger on her chin, one raises a game tile to her face, and one puts on her boxing gloves; on the dresser each morning, she reminds the woman looking in the mirror that her decisions are her own.

Queens of Now is a series of busts of young women with blunt bobs, closed eyes, and red lips; in color-blocked outfits, each carries her own attitude: one holds a gold-colored tray, one rests a finger on her chin, one raises a mahjong tile to her face, and one poses in boxing gloves.

The pink model's tray can hold lipstick, rings, or small jewelry; all of them add a colorful accent to a dresser, a bookshelf, or a desk. In red, yellow, pink, and green models.
