The Dealmaker

A heart held out in the palm is one of the oldest images of a promise given and an open heart. The Dealmaker tells this story through the innocent stance of a child: holding out a red heart, the figure becomes a small reminder of the promises kept and the honesty upheld at home.

The Dealmaker is a wide-eyed figure in short shorts holding a glossy red heart in its palm. The pink chrome face, the gold-toned hat brim peeking out behind the black hair, the blue bow tie and the red shoes shine like mirrors.

With its round black base, it stands 40 cm tall; on a bookshelf, a desk or inside a niche. Cast in resin; it measures 35 × 35 × 40 cm.
