Geometric Teddy

A prism splits the white light passing through it into its colors; the same object shows a different face depending on the angle. With this idea, the sculpture brings the teddy bear of childhood to the shelf of a grown-up home: every face of the body, divided into sharp planes, catches the light on its own, and through the day the bear takes on a different gleam with the light of the room.

In Geometric Teddy, a standing teddy bear is rebuilt from small, sharp planes. Each facet takes the light from its own angle; on the single-color body, only the nose remains black.

At 27.5 cm tall, it finds a place on a bookcase shelf, a console, or a desk; several colors can also be lined up side by side. Options include pink, red, yellow, and white.

Depending on screen settings, colors may look slightly different from the photos.
