Glow Balloon Astronaut

A rainbow is a light that appears after the rain and is often seen as a sign of good days ahead. In this sculpture, the silver-jacketed astronaut raises its moon balloon; with a light that changes color at a touch, it brings a small rainbow of its own to your living room in the evening.

In Glow Balloon Astronaut, the silver-jacketed figure raises the moon balloon in its hand like a lantern. A light touch on the balloon shifts its glow between white, green, pink, and blue; the chrome-bright visor and matte black headphones balance the silver.

The light runs on a USB-rechargeable battery. At 110 cm tall, it stands on the floor on its angular white base in the living room, the entryway, or a covered terrace; made of resin.
