Popeye Ice Cream

Money is often treated as serious business; yet enjoying the fruits of one's labor matters just as much. Popeye Ice Cream strikes that balance with wit: the dollar-shaped ice cream in the hand of the sailor flexing his bicep is a smiling reminder that what is earned should be shared with pleasure.

Popeye Ice Cream is a playful chrome sculpture of a sailor in a cap, flexing his bicep and holding an ice cream cone that drips in the shape of a dollar sign. The face and arms shine in gold-copper tones; the shirt, trousers and dripping ice cream change with the chosen color scheme.

It stands 43 cm high and weighs 8 kg; with its black square base, it becomes a witty detail on a console or in a study. It comes in purple, black, blue and pink.
