Moon Beats Astronaut

The moon is like an old companion to those who stay up late, who dream, and who hum songs to themselves. In this sculpture, the astronaut with headphones has climbed to the top of a cratered moon sphere; with a small star in hand, it brings to the evening hours of the home the calm of a tune only it can hear.

Moon Beats Astronaut stands atop a gray moon sphere whose craters are picked out in gold; a small star in one hand, and in its ears a tune only it can hear. The large mirror helmet and open jacket draw the eye upward.

At 140 cm tall, it creates a focal point on its own in a corner of the living room, in the entryway, or on a wide stair landing. Made of resin; offered in gold, blue, and silver, with the same moon sphere in all three colors.

Depending on screen settings, colors may look slightly different from the photos.
