About the piece

A hand held out at the door is the first sign of hospitality, understood in every culture. Platinum Mickey brings this welcome to the entryway: with one silver-gloved hand extended and the other on its hip, the figure makes room with a smile for everyone who comes home, right at the door.

Platinum Mickey is a mouse figure with one hand held out as if inviting a guest inside and the other resting on its hip. The rose-gold-toned face, glossy black body, red chrome shorts, silver gloves and large gold-toned shoes shine like mirrors.

Its weighted base keeps it steady; it greets guests on the entryway console, on a living room side table or on a marble pedestal. Cast in resin, it weighs 8 kg.
