Astronaut Angel

The idea of a winged guardian watching over children and their dreams appears in the tales and beliefs of many cultures. Here the guardian is an astronaut: it holds a small rocket to its chest as one would hold a child, and shelters the dreams of the home beneath its gold-toned wings.

Astronaut Angel is a gold-toned astronaut whose feathered wings, opening from its back, recall a guardian. In its black-gloved arms it holds a small rocket close to its chest; the mirror-bright visor reflects the room around it.

With its white, rock-textured base it stands 75 cm tall and sits steadily on a console, a wide bookcase shelf, or a display plinth. It is cast in resin and finished in a high-gloss gold tone.
